A question I must have asked myself a thousand times.
My name is Nicole Nyima Costerus, and even though I now teach evidential mediumship and guide women through deep spiritual initiationsâŚ
I didnât start here.
I started super sceptical of my own intuition.
I doubted everything I sensed.
As a child, I was terrified of the unseen.
I would jump into my bed because I felt something might grab me from underneath.
I sensed presences behind me when I was brushing my teeth or walking home at night.
I woke up sweating with fear, convinced something was standing beside my bed.
My sensitivity felt like a curse instead of a gift.
I absorbed everything â emotions, stories, energies.
Second-hand stores, crowded spaces, even family gatheringsâŚ
I would leave drained, heavy, overwhelmed.
And for years, I told myself:
âYouâre imagining things.â
âYouâre too sensitive.â
âThis canât be real.â
I didnât trust my intuition.
I didnât understand my mediumship.
And I had no idea how to navigate the world with a nervous system that was wide open.
It took years of devotion, training, ceremony, spiritual practice, initiations, and mentorship to learn the truth:

đ I was spiritually gifted â but untrained.
đ I needed grounding, guidance, and actual structure to channel my sensitivity safely and clearly.

In 2012, everything shifted.
I entered a three-year training in English Evidential Mediumship, a lineage rooted in precision, ethics, clarity, and service. It taught me how to transform my sensitivity into accuracy â and how to stand grounded between worlds.
I continued my studies in temple work, ancestry, and Indigenous traditions from South America, learning how ceremony, ritual, and the unseen have been woven into healing since ancient times.
After that, I completed a priestess initiation in Benin, West Africa, a tradition deeply connected to the ancestors, the elements, the spirits, and the natural world.
For the last decade, Iâve been teaching mediumship, psychic development, and the mystic arts to women all over the world.
And today, I can say:

My Kundalini Awakening
In 2016, I went through a spontaneous Kundalini awakening that shook my entire life.
It was strong, unexpected, and nothing like the poetic descriptions you sometimes read about.
For three months, my body shook uncontrollably for about 90 minutes a day.
I experienced bizarre symptoms, involuntary movements, intense rushes of energy, yoga postures in the middle of the night, lucid dreams and nightmares and lots more.
I had no support at the time.
I had an intuition what was happening to me, but couldn't find support that felt right.
It felt overwhelming, at times frightening, and incredibly lonely.
HOW TO DEAL WITH THIS? How to integrate all these openings?
Over the years that followed, I found an extraordinary mentor who guided me through both the beauty and the pain of awakening. After that my initiation as a Serpent Priestess, opened a deep relationship with kundalini.Â
I learned how to navigate the force of Kundalini with grounding, clarity, and respect.
Everything I learned, everything I wish I had known then, is woven into this year training.

Spirit Pathways is a mixed-level group.
Some women are completely new to this work, while others have trained with me, or with other teachers, for years.
I have been developing my own mediumship since 2012 and teaching since 2014, primarily in the English evidential mediumship modality, a lineage known for its precision, clarity, and powerful way of reading energy.
If you come from another modality or intuitive background,
this program will deepen, refine, and strengthen your gifts, especially in accuracy, confidence, ethical practice, and the subtle art of reading energy.
If you are already trained in the English evidential mediumship tradition and you feel a pull to join,
please reach out to me personally so we can explore whether this pathway is the right next step for your development.
For this training you need to be present at at least 80% of the calls in order to receive your certificate. This means missing maximum 2 in person days and 4 online trainings.Â
There is a strong recommendation to be present at as much of the trainings as possible, because the trainings offer the space to really embody the teachings.Â
If you cannot join a training, no worries. Online calls will be recorded and the replays will be available in the online community space the next day.Â
You can also find yourself a practice buddy in the community space and practice the practices of that training together.Â
