Endless input.
Constant movement.
So much to see, process, respond to and keep up with.
Many women feel it:
The intensity, the speed, the subtle exhaustion of always being “on.”
She Who Sees in the Dark is an invitation to step out of that world for one day.
To enter complete darkness.
And return.
Back to the body.
Back to stillness.
Back to your own inner knowing.
Back to your connection with Spirit.
Back to the quiet intelligence underneath and in it all.
During this day we will explore different pathways into intuition, psychic and mediumistic abilities and deeper states of consciousness.
We will work with practices from the field of mediumship, trance and mystic arts, including:
Â
I have to finish this by praising and giving thanks to Nicole for creating a safe space for us all, for building a beautifully structured container to play, experiment, discover and practice in. For her open, sparkly and calming energy and her enthusiasm with which we she roots for each one of us. For the kind of no-nonsense style of teaching, allowing us to really learn to lean on and trust our own way of Being (sensing, receiving, reading etc), rather than following or imitating someone or something else outside of ourselves. And of course for the Love that she radiates!
I love the way Nicole holds space and delivers the teaching in a kind, grounded manner. It helped me build my self-confidence, fine- tune my intuitive skills as well as help me deepen my connection to the Spirit realm. I feel more trustful of my own abilities and it has offered me a new direction to proceed further within my own business. I highly recommend her work!
For all women out there who are interested in using your intuitive and psychic gifts to aide yourself, and others, in healing and transformation, I highly recommend Nicole's programs. It will help you step in to your gifts and abilities more powerfully, and be able to apply them with your clients. It has helped me take the next steps in building my on-line business and trusting my own intuition in all my life decisions along the way. Much love :)
Who wants to deepen her intuition without trying harder.
Who is curious about trance, mediumship and deeper states of consciousness.
Who wants to spend time in complete darkness with like hearted women.
Who feels a longing for silence, unwinding, nourishment and rest.
For depth.
For mystery.
For a space where she does not need to know what comes next.
You do not need previous experience with darkness, mediumship or trance.
Only a willingness to enter.
"Am I making this up?"
I must have asked myself that question a thousand times.
As a child, I felt everything: presences at night, emotions of others, spirits beside my bed.
I doubted myself endlessly, felt overwhelmed in crowded places, and thought I was imagining everything.
I felt unsafe within myself and inside my life. I became a strong independent woman that was in control of her life, yet afraid deep within and afraid of the Unknown.Â
Everything changed when I began a deep journey into English Evidential Mediumship in 2012, and when I spent 26 days and nights incomplete darkness by myself in Mexico.
I learned how to surrender, how to lean into the support that is always already there, from spirit and form life itself.Â
I learned how to feel safe again inside myself and inside my life.Â
Â
Today:
đź–¤ I deeply know that all is well, even when my life is challenging. I feel safe.
🖤 I trust my intuition
đź–¤ I work daily with the spirit world
đź–¤ I have a nourishing relationship with the dark and the unknown.
đź–¤ I experience my sensitivity as a blessing, not a burden
đź–¤ I live a deeply aligned, intuitive life.
đź–¤ And I've guided thousands of women into their intuitive gifts.
And now…
I invite you into this doorway.
Into a day where you get to experience the magic of safety, trust and the deep love that you are always held by.
Much love,
Nicole Nyima

Nicole’s intuition and presence is deep as the ocean. She is a powerful yet gentle woman who walks between the worlds, whose eyes shine with the brightness of the sun. Resting under the blanket of her wisdom and kindness, doors of the soul open.
FOUNDER OF ACADEMIE VOOR MEDIUMSCHAPÂ
In 2012 Nicole started to develop her mediumship with us and from day 1 "I knew, I saw" that she was born for mediumship. The love she has for both the spirit world as well as her clients is huge. Her passion to serve, always present.Â
For centuries, cultures around the world have worked with darkness as a sacred space for rest, meditation, heightened perception and spiritual initiation.
In the Himalayan traditions of Tibet and India, yogis and meditators would retreat into caves and complete darkness for extended periods of contemplation and inner awakening. Certain advanced Buddhist and Taoist traditions still work with darkness retreats today as a pathway into deeper states of meditation, subtle perception and expanded consciousness.
In some Indigenous traditions, darkness has also been used as part of initiatory processes connected to intuition, dreaming and spiritual maturation. In the Kogi tradition of Colombia, children destined to become spiritual leaders traditionally spend long periods in dark spaces from an early age, learning to orient through the inner world before fully entering the outer world.
Darkness also has deep roots within the history of Western Spiritualism and trance mediumship. In the UK, Spiritualist mediums have gathered in darkened rooms and séances for generations to explore trance states, healing and physical mediumship, using darkness to soften external distraction and deepen receptivity to the unseen.
Across cultures, darkness has often been understood as a living field of stillness, mystery, deep listening and transformation.
She Who Sees in the Dark — is inspired by these ancient traditions of retreat, meditation, trance and deeper states of awareness, while bringing them into a grounded and carefully held modern day experience.

YES TO THIS!You are not learning from someone who only teaches techniques —

This day is not simply educational.
It is transmitting a frequency — a remembrance of a sight you once had and are now ready to reclaim.
We enter the darkness together with a group of like hearted women and the love of your spirit guides and loved ones in spirit.Â
The day is carefully held and guided, with moments of practice, exploration, sharing and rest.
There is nothing you have to achieve.
Nothing particular that needs to happen.
Your experience of the darkness may be subtle or profound, peaceful or confronting, quiet or unexpectedly alive.
All of it is welcome.
The invitation is simply:
What becomes available when you can no longer rely on your eyes?

Both the online and in-person groups work with darkness as part of the immersive nature of the training. This means we intentionally reduce external visual stimulation to support deeper rest, inner listening, deeper states of awareness and subtle perception.
You do not need previous experience with darkness retreats or trance work to join this training.
The in-person training takes place in a fully darkened environment.
Some practices will be guided in soft red light to create moments of semi-darkness and support specific exercises. Shared spaces during breaks, including lunch and bathroom areas, will be candlelit, with the option to spend time outside for fresh air, grounding and nervous system regulation during breaks.
The atmosphere is carefully held, grounded and supportive throughout the training days.
Online participants are invited to create their own dark or semi-dark environment at home to support the immersive nature of the training.
This could be:
If creating complete darkness at home is not possible, a semi-dark environment is absolutely welcome as well. The intention is not perfection, but creating a space that supports stillness, receptivity and inner listening.
Throughout the training, you are encouraged to work at a pace and depth that feels supportive for your own nervous system and life circumstances.
Yes — absolutely.
Many women who feel drawn to this day also notice fear, resistance or nervousness around darkness and the unseen. This is completely natural.
At the same time, this training does ask for a willingness to gently lean into discomfort and unfamiliarity. The darkness itself is part of the initiatory experience and one of the teachers of the day.
You are always encouraged to work at a pace that feels supportive for your nervous system. Semi-darkness is also welcome for the online group if complete darkness feels too intense in your home environment.
Interestingly, many women discover that what initially feels uncomfortable slowly transforms into deep rest, peace and a profound sense of homecoming within themselves. 🌑
At its heart, trance mediumship is the practice of deepening your relationship with Spirit and being of service for their wisdom and love to come through.
Rather than reaching outward, we learn to soften inward. We cultivate states of deep receptivity, trust and surrender, allowing ourselves to become more aware of the loving presence of the spirit world and the support that is always available to us.
Many people describe trance as a profound sense of homecoming.
A feeling of being held by something greater.
A deep peace.
A deep love.
A remembering that you are not alone.
Within this training, we explore trance through our relationship with our spirit guides — the beings who walk alongside us throughout our lives, offering guidance, healing, wisdom and support, as well as our loved ones in spirit - Many people discover that the bond with those they love continues beyond physical death, and that love, support and guidance can still be felt across the veil between worlds.
Through meditation & trance practices we gradually learn how to quiet the thinking mind and deepen our sensitivity to the subtle presence of Spirit. We learn how to surrender.
Over time, this practice often begins to affect far more than mediumship.
The qualities we cultivate in trance — trust, surrender, receptivity and connection — naturally begin to ripple into everyday life.
Many students discover a growing sense that they are being supported, guided and held by something greater than themselves.
And from that place, life becomes less about forcing and controlling, and more about listening, trusting and allowing.
Yes.
You do not need previous experience with darkness retreats, trance work, mediumship or deeper states of consciousness to join this day.
She Who Sees in the Dark is designed to meet you where you are. Whether you are completely new to these subjects or already have experience with meditation, healing, mediumship or spiritual development, you are welcome.
What matters most is not experience, but curiosity, openness and a willingness to explore.
The day is held in a grounded, gradual and carefully guided way, allowing you to build trust in yourself, your sensitivity and the experience.
Many women join because they feel a pull toward the mystery, the stillness and the dark long before they fully understand why.
That pull is often enough. 🌑
Very possibly, yes.
While darkness immersion is one of the foundations of this training, She Who Sees in the Dark is more than a darkness retreat.
Throughout the day we explore the intersection of darkness, deeper states of consciousness and spirit communication.
If you have experience with dark retreats, you may find that this training offers a unique opportunity to continue your relationship with the dark.
Many people experience dark retreats as powerful personal journeys. She Who Sees in the Dark builds on that foundation by exploring what becomes possible when darkness is combined with trance practices, healing work, group intelligence and the study of consciousness.
The dark may be familiar to you.
But the dark never stops teaching.
And often, each return reveals another layer of the mystery. 🌑
NO, besides the price, location and the lunch being included in the in person training, the trainings are the same.Â
Same amount of hoursÂ
Same curriculum
Same teacher
etc.Â
